Content: This course provides an inside view about today's and future ship fuels including potential and limitations. Keys items are:

• Overview of today's and future fuels for seagoing ships (includes pricing indications)

• Regulatory framework of IMO (IGF-Code, MARPOL).

• Potential application of new technologies beyond 2025: engines with alternative fuels, fuel cells, gas steam turbine systems (COGES)
